The majority of hotels scattered throughout this city are vast in size and range- with numbers of rooms easily exceeding the hundreds. However, it doesn’t matter how high-end you choose to go with your visit; all hotels here provide guests with a wide range of facilities. These are generally but not limited to; a pool, bars, restaurants, sauna, spa and fitness centre.
Grand Millennium Al Wahda
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
This impressive 31-story hotel is located right at the heart of the capital. The hotel’s bordering establishments include the largest shopping centre in the emirate, the Al Wahda Mall. Other surrounding buildings include the Corniche, Ferrari World and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The facilities offered by this hotel are extensive and include but are not limited to an open-air rooftop pool, a spa and a fitness centre. In addition, there’s an Al Wahda Kids Club, which offers activities and classes for parents who want to keep their kids occupied while they unwind and relax. Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Centre, Abu Dhabi

This four-star hotel is part of the city’s World Trade Center Mall. It is located near the Abu Dhabi Corniche, a mere 10-minute walk. A swinging lounge and rope-suspended poolside chairs highlight this modern, contemporary chain hotel. Facilities are plentiful at this hotel, with services including a rooftop pool, gym and tour desk. There are three establishments to choose from.
Regarding dining, The Bistro is considered the most high-end restaurant of the three. However, the rooftop bar is favourable for a sunset drink. Rooms are pretty priced and begin at £46 per night.
Park Rotana
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
This five-star hotel is affordable, family-friendly and situated in a great location. Park Rotana is only five minutes from Abu Dhabi’s landmark Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Popular attractions like Yas Island and the Eastern Mangroves promenade are located approximately 10 to 15 minutes away. The hotel contains separate adult and child pools, a gym, a spa and a tennis court. The hotel consists of several dining experiences ranging from the more high-end dining establishment of Teatro to the more casual Ginger. We recommend this hotel for anyone travelling with a large group, families or anyone on a budget; a room at this economical hotel begins at a modest £49per night.
Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara

This five-star hotel is located close to Abu Dhabi’s Central Business District, making it the ideal location for those travelling on business. The hotel is also a 15 minutes drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport, making it a perfect spot for those wishing to stay in the city centre. Easter Mangroves Hotel has a quintessentially Arabian atmosphere. Its design is modelled on Islamic archways, and Arabian music can be heard playing upon arrival. There are five dining establishments to choose from in this hotel; however, we recommend trying The Warehouse, a wine and tapas bar for the best cuisine. Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana

This apartment-style hotel is ideal for long-term guests or those wishing to travel on a budget. As this hotel also offers room service, the hotel’s main restaurant Tamarind is, for the most part, quiet. Long-term guests generally tend to order food via room service. This is generally considered one of the most well-recognised buildings in the capital. Locals habitually refer to it as the ‘Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi’. This hotel is known for its unique decor, whereby paintings by locals are hung in the lobby in a gallery-like fashion. There is only one main dining establishment, where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, there is also a lounge bar where guests are served complimentary drinks daily from 5 pm-7 pm. This vast hotel, containing 25 stories, is located next to Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec). It is situated in the relatively new business district, Capital Centre, on Abu Dhabi Island. This makes it the ideal spot for anyone travelling on business, as its proximity allows business people to avoid travelling great distances to reach the capital centre. This hotel is also alcohol-free, providing guests a calmer and quieter atmosphere. Facilities offered by this hotel include a small outdoor pool, a gym, several meeting rooms and a sauna. In terms of dining establishments, the hotel has few restaurants, including the Tamarind; however, it also provides room service for its guests. This is a highly economical hotel, with few guests staying long term. Prices start at a reasonable Rooms £45per night.
W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island

This hotel is utterly unique for two reasons. First, the fact is that it is half situated on land and half over water. The second and most exciting reason is that it is attached to a Formula 1 racecourse. As such, guests can enjoy the views of cars racing by. In addition, this hotel has a great location. It is situated on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island, home to some of the city’s main tourist attractions. Regarding dining outlets and bars, the Skylite bar is an excellent spot for a pre-dinner drink. However, Angar, the hotel’s Indian restaurant, is the best spot for dinner. This Thai-inspired hotel is the third largest in its vicinity. It can be seen towering over its surrounding buildings. This hotel has an excellent location and is situated beside Eastern Mangroves Promenade and 10 minutes to the city centre. The architecture of this hotel is Thai inspired and features stunning chandeliers throughout the lobby. One of the unique aspects of this hotel is its glass list, which provides spectacular views of the city’s skyline. As is generally the case with this city, facilities are abundant. This hotel features dimensions including a pool, spa and fitness centre. This hotel is so high up, so its rooftop pool is particularly worth visiting. Views of the entire city can be observed from this height. There are various dining establishments here, with Benjarong topping the list. Urban Kitchen is also high commended by guests. In terms of expense, this hotel is quite middle range, with prices per room beginning at £69per night.
Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences

This impressive hotel is located within walking distance of Emirates Palace, which the hotel also offers magnificent views of. The Corniche Beach promenade is easily walkable from this hotel. This five-star chain hotel is one of the oldest in the entire capital, with its date of establishment in 1973. It is located next to the Corniche and contains its private beach resort. This hotel is not as extravagant in architectural structure as its new neighbouring hotels, but this is where much of its charm lies. Facilities provided by this hotel include the Hiltonia Beach Club, which contains three pools and is family-friendly, with its children’s waterslide. Other services include but are not limited t the gym, spa and private beach. There is a wide range of eating establishments to choose from; however, we recommend eating at the Jazz Bar & Dining. This hotel has 15 restaurants and bars; however, the Jazz Bar & Dining provides guests with live jazz music to entertain them. Rooms vary in price but generally start from £82per night.
